Contents:

-{ I } Stats
-{ II } Gems, Enchants
-{ III } Talents, Glyphs
-{ IV } Priority/Abilities.
• { IV/1 } Shield Slam
• { IV/2 } Revenge
• { IV/3 } Devastate
• { IV/4 } Shockwave
• { IV/5 } Concussion Blow
• { IV/6 } Heroic Strike
-{ V } Gear Selection - Ideal Sets etc.
-{ VI } Buffs, Debuffs, Consumables
-{ VII } Addon Recommendation

{ I } Stats:
Stamina at the present time is absolutely king, and so you should aim to get as much stamina as possible at the present time, as the ICC debuff will negate 20% of your dodge and parry Diminishing Return (DR) just isn't worth stacking.

However that is not to say that other stats are unimportant. You should always aim to get 26expertise as this stops a boss from dodging your attacks and so greatly increases your threat (Many warriors don't realise just how much they miss/dodge). The parry cap is 56 expertise, but you cannot truly reach this unless you severely gimp yourself. You should also try and get 263 hit, but this is not as essential for tanks as expertise is, and should a piece offer even a slight bit more stamina you should take it over the hit piece, whereas if a piece with expertise on it has slightly less stamina, it would be viable to keep that piece if it means staying over the dodge cap.

Dodge/Parry/Miss will all come with gear, as will your armour, which in ICC is an absolutely massive factor, as it helps to mitigate a flat amount of damage (Blizzard also seem to be giving us this impression: Look at the increased armour on our set pieces and badge gear).

{ II } Enchants and gems:
I'll list the enchants you should have and why here:

Head: Argent Crusade
Cloak: 225 Armour
Shoulders: PvP Shoulder Enchant or Inscription Enchant - Stamina is alot better than avoidance as stated above.
Chest: 275 Health - 10stats with kings only gives 110hp or so, so you gain alot more from the flat health increase.
Bracers: 40 stamina or the Leatherworking Enchant.
Hands: 18stamina or 240armour.
Legs: 55stamina/22agility.
Boots: Tuskaar's Vitality - Much better than 22stamina as for the loss of 7stam you gain increased run speed which is invaluable.

Gems: 30Stamina, always always always. As all gear at the minute even if it has a +12stamina bonus will run you up much shorter than if you had of gemmed straight stamina. One red gem (10Expertise/15Stam if below 26Expertise, 10stats if above)

{ III } Talents and glyphs:

For Threat: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#LAM00fZhbZVItrx0zidIzoGo:AcbMzc
For Survivability:http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#LVZGV00xZVItMx0didczsGo:TriMzo

Minors are largely your own preference, the above are only my own.

Specs are pretty self explanatory, with them being cookie cutter specs used for the past few patches.

{ IV } Priority:
• { IV/1 } Shield Slam: No brainer. Your best ability for generating TPS, and the crux of Warrior Tanking. You want this on CD constantly.
• { IV/2 } Come 3.3.3, Revenge damage will be buffed and so will once again be above devastate in terms of TPS (At the present time Devastate Glyphed is better that revenge for TPS) If your using the above threat spec, this will always be on CD after Shield Slam as it also procs the glyph of heroic strike.
• { IV/3 } Devastate. The modern version of Sunder Armour. You want to use this ability before Revenge in 3.3.3 in only one situation: When Sunder Armour isn't on the boss. Does decent damage and decent TPS, but will fall behind Revenge come 3.3.3.
• { IV/4 } Shockwave is primarily for AOE now, and no longer bears any use on a boss except for when a mob can be stunned. For example, on Saurfang, the bloodbeasts can be stunned and so a well timed shockwave can give your casters a little bit extra breathing room.
• { IV/5 } Concussion Blow is very much the same as Shockwave now, only usable for when a nearby add is stunnable and so you can buy someone some time to get range/nuke it down. Concussion Blow is very useful in 5mans if a DPS goes OTT on DPS.
• { IV/6 } Lastly, Heroic Strike, the ability you love to hate. Carpal Tunnel comes to mind for many warriors when you mention this, but it adds ALOT of threat and so should be used when above 50rage (Almost always when raid tanking)

Have to mention Intervene here aswell, as it really is awesome when used properly. Either for dropping the threat of someone (Ranged on Vezax) or for simply stopping someone getting smacked in the head by a mob (Stray mob hitting the healer)

{ V } Gear Selection

What to aim for in ICC (Hard Mode Loot) : http://chardev.org/?profile=375598
ICC10man loot and below (One trinket is TOC 25man, so if you have a brewfest trinket or something feel free to use it): http://chardev.org/?profile=375896
Many slots have 2 pieces of gear for them due to the obscene amount of badges needed.

Will add an ICC normal 10man list aswell as a heroic 10man one. May also add a 25man version should we move in there.

{ VI } Buffs, Debuffs and Consumables.

Speaks for itself, but: ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERY BUFF BEFORE PRESSING YES FOR A READY CHECK.

Buffs wise during a fight you will want a hunter MD constantly and a rogue TotT on the pull before they begin to TotT each other. Always keep up your shout, which in a 25man will ultimately be Commanding Shout but in 10man could be either.

Debuffs wise we always want to keep Demo Shout and Thunderclap on the boss, as it makes the healers job easier and thus makes us easier to heal and this then makes for less tank gibs.

Consumables: If below the expertise soft cap (26) then eat 40expertise/40stamina food. If above this, then either avail of a fish (if you have one) or eat 40strength/40stamina food.

{ VIII } Addon recommendation

Omen obviously, it's always nice to see where DPS are in terms of threat, especially if your OTing at the time and so can intervene them and take 10% of their threat off them.
Aloft is also a good addon, as it replaces the blizzard default name bars.
An addon such as pitbull which clearly shows your health, the bosses health and your percentage of health.
A working boss mod, as the two major ones (DBM, Bigwigs) have timers for when an add/boss will engage and this can help you to be ready and in position.
